Context

Dead Planet is a short motion-graphics piece exploring a dystopian space mood — a dark world cracked with molten light against a burning companion star.

Approach

Built in After Effects as a self-directed animation and VFX study: planetary surface maps, nebula colour, and cinematic framing for a twelve-second sequence.

Outcome

Deliverables: After Effects motion short (Vimeo), process stills for planetary maps and colour, and a cinematic keyframe for the Archive cover.
